Reviews and Ratings
I had a bit of a mixed experience at the hotel. The room was very cold at night despite following staff recommendations, which made it uncomfortable. However, the bed was excellent, the bathroom was nice and clean with big towels. The dark and dingy room layout was a downside, especially with the ceiling window giving an odd lighting appearance.
The hotel has a convenient location, just a short walk from the Queen St train station and close to the city center for exploring Glasgow. The rooms were spotless but had a confusing layout and very high windows, limiting the view. The service was mixed, with some issues but overall apologetic. The dining options were limited but adequate for a quick meal. The hotel offers continental and full Scottish breakfast, including traditional dishes. The facilities are decent, with laundry and dry cleaning services available for guests.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable, but the noise from neighbors emptying bottles late at night was disruptive. The check-in process was also delayed, which was a downside. The service was overall friendly and helpful, although I had a bit of a difficulty turning off something that woke me up at 3 am. The location was superb, just a few steps away from Buchanan Street and all the major shopping areas. The dining experience was enjoyable, with a variety of options available, but I would have preferred real milk in the room.
